Problem Collection for Czech and Slovak Republics

History and System

These two countries used to form Czechoslovakia until 1992. After the break-apart of Czechoslovakia the final round of Czechoslovak MO (established in 1952) continued to exist as the common final round in both countries, though under a slightly modified name of Czech and Slovak MO. However, the preliminary phases seem to be held separately in the two countries. There are three preliminary phases and the final round held in April.
