Problem Collection for France

History and System

The Concours Général (here referred to as French MC) was introduced in 1988(?) and used to consist of five problems. The format of the competition was radically changed in 2000, and since then it has consisted of one big problem in many small parts.

France at International Competitions

France has participated at IMO since 1967. In the recent history the best success of the team at IMO is the 19-th place in 2002. French IMO teams are selected through the Concours Général and the Team Selection Exam (which may have been introduced quite recently).

Problems

The total number of available problems is 123.
